BOĞAZİÇİ GROUP's foundations were laid in the 38's as an Istanbul-based company, and its activities were mainly started in the construction sector. With its developing organizational structure and the level of performance achieved, it has reached important places, especially in the fields of construction and trade, not only in national but also in international platforms.
BOĞAZİÇİ GROUP is spread over four main fields of activity as Construction and Trade, Automotive, Tourism and Hotel Management, Food and Agricultural Products.
It was established in 1938 as a commandite company on the way to become an international general contracting company and has made a name for itself with many large-scale and high-tech international projects since the beginning of its activity.
During the 1940-1970 period, they carried out activities in many residential, public and economic buildings, bridge construction, energy transmission lines and telephone line connections in the country. At the beginning of the projects that stood out in this period, Malatya Bridge Constructions, Turkey 154 Kv Energy Transmission Lines and NATO Infrastructure Project were Turkey's first telephone line connection projects.
In the 1970-2000 period, in parallel with the development in the Turkish Economy, BOĞAZİÇİ started its activities in international platforms, taking advantage of the increase in the popularity of ship shipping, and shifted its operating point to Libya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Tunisia, and reached the deserved positions among the International Turkish Contractors with the level of success achieved. Some outstanding projects of 1970-2000 period are listed as Libya Tripoli Port Project, Saudi Arabia Mecca Muna Tunnels, Egypt Port Expansion Projects, Tunisia Gabes Port Project and Indus Highway Project in Pakistan.
In the 2000s, as a result of the position reached, BOĞAZİÇİ directed its international activities to Arab countries. During this period, it made commitments for the Manifa Gateway Project in Saudi Arabia, the Port of Oman, and the Container Port in Qatar.
In the 21st Century, it has worked in many contracting works in Turkey, as well as housing and villa production in European companies such as England and the United States.
