The developments that started with the Covid-19 pandemic caused a difficult process in our country as well as in the whole world. At the end of two years after the shock wave created by the epidemic, the triggering of inflation and the changes in the order models of the producers brought the risk of economic recession.
In 2023, probably the central banks of developed countries will try to find solutions to the fight against inflation by increasing the interest rates and reducing the money supply. Although it is expected that inflation will start to decrease worldwide by the middle of the year, it is seen that the risk of global inflation will still pose a very important problem due to global commodity, agri-food, energy prices and logistics costs. Of course, the economic-political decisions of China and Russia can be counted among the very critical global risks.
With the "energy crisis" that affected the whole world, the Russia-Ukraine war caused all countries, especially the European Union, to experience difficulties with the increase in energy and natural gas consumption costs. In this context, it is expected that critical changes will be experienced in this sector as well as the rapid turn towards renewable energy investments.
In addition, the global climate crisis and global climate security will be the most important agenda of the coming years. For this reason, it will prioritize new approaches in sectors such as energy, transportation, housing, agriculture and the manufacturing industry. As Turkey focused on this issue and followed the developments closely, it became a part of the Paris Agreement and announced its target for 2053 as "net zero carbon".
Despite the expected increase in housing costs in the real estate sector in 2022, we hope that some of the domestic and foreign investors with foreign currency investments will leave their foreign currency position and turn to real estate.
Our priorities include effective financial management that ensures strong cash flow, strategic planning for efficient use of resources, and increasing employee satisfaction through healthy employment growth.
As the Beyaz Family, we give priority to our social responsibilities for a more livable world, and we continue to provide social benefits with the projects we realize, especially in the field of education. During the pandemic period, we have implemented the necessary measures in a timely manner in order to prevent our employees from being adversely affected and to increase their motivation. Thanks to the devotion of our managers and colleagues, I think that we have overcome the negativities that may be experienced in this period in the best way, and I thank them.
With my kind regards,
